It’s been a while since I posted an Angie update. She has changed so much in the last 5 weeks, very little of it physical, however. Her diaper and clothing sizes have not increased at all. The only physical change I’ve observed is a tooth that finally emerged after a lot of drama. There were several traumatic nights during which she woke up and refused to go back to bed for almost two hours each time.

Last week Angie waved and clapped her hands for the very first time. She hasn’t repeated the wave yet, but now she claps every chance she gets. She likes to find small things on the floor and picks them up very carefully. She loves being around people because it means she has more to observe. She will put up with being restrained in her high chair during meals only if we give her something to play with, preferably something she hasn’t seen before. She says Ma, Da, and occasionally Na. I’m pretty sure the first two refer to me and Kevin. I wonder if the third refers to her big sister, Ana.

Julie and I had fun the other day discovering the Facebook album cover meme. In case you haven’t seen it, you’re supposed to do the following:

1 – Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random” or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 – Go to Random Quotes or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 – Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days. Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 – Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

This evening I finally did step 4 for both of us…
