Angie has a cold. It’s not serious, but it’s keeping her from eating or sleeping as well as I’d like. My big accomplishment for the day was getting her to eat a small bowl of mashed carrots with rice cereal AND drink a bottle. Hopefully she’ll sleep tonight.
On top of that I barely crawled out of bed this morning because of my bad back. But I managed to make it through the day without resorting to painkillers. I guess that’s my other big accomplishment for the day.
Kevin reminds me it was like this the first two times. The big difference is I’m 8 years older than I was with Alex. Right after he was born, I got my 1st gray hair. After Ana was born, I got my 2nd gray hair. This time, I am so physically stressed that gray hairs are popping out of my head left and right. I think I’ve counted 4 new gray hairs.
Some day I’ll sleep through the night again. I’ve got my fingers crossed.
