We really enjoyed our visit to the L.A. County Fair this year. The two exhibit halls we enjoyed the most were the animation exhibits and the marine life exhibits.
Above is a collage of pictures I took of the animation exhibits: top row, two food animals from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, the family on the “set” of The Simpsons; middle row, Robotech paraphernalia (Kevin called me a fan girl for taking this shot); bottom row, Kung Fu Panda and the castle from Shrek.
Here’s a collage of the marine life exhibits: horseshoe crabs, nurse sharks, a real live mermaid , and a sea lion.
If you plan to go this year, be sure to stop by their website at http://lacountyfair.com, where they post special deals, schedules, etc.
Today I heard a mom admit she couldn’t remember what her kid looked like as a baby without looking at pictures. I’m so glad I’m not the only one.
At our local elementary school, the cafeteria is serving Roscoe’s for lunch next week. Lucky kids.
